What to Expect with Park Guell and Casa Mila Tickets

Here’s a detailed itinerary of what you can expect at Barcelona’s famous sites, Park Guell and Casa Batllo:

Casa Mila

With 1 million annual visitors, Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, is a famous attraction in Barcelona.

It is considered one of the most iconic works by its architect, Antoni Gaudí and was also the last private residence he designed.

Once you are in front of the building, you will be amazed by its unique architectural style; rather than straight walls, it has a facade with curvy waals and lines all around.

The facade is well-decorated with wrought iron balconies.

Inside Casa Mila, you will see the stunning interior design with lavish apartments, halls, courtyards, and walls well decorated with artwork.

The work of Guadi was inspired by nature, and its innovative features maximize natural light and airflow inside the building.

Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and continues to attract visitors from around the world.

Park Guell

Park Guell is divided into the Monumental Zone and the Forest Zone

The Monumental Zone is the most exciting part of the park, as it features Gaudi’s works and covers 5% of the park.

It includes popular highlights: the entrance pavilion, staircase, serpentine bench, Gaudi house, and more.

You discover the Porter’s Lodge Pavillion and the Dragon Stairway as you enter the park.

The pavillion has a beautiful roof with stunning Catalan clay trencadís, while the stairway has a mosaic dragon fountain.

Your next stop will be the Hypostyle room, with stone columns loosely resembling trees.

After this, you can see the Nature Square, a vast space surrounded by a long, colorful bench named Trencadís Bench.

After exploring the park, you can see the Austria Gardens, a peaceful green landscape escape from the chaotic world.

Lastly, visit the infamous Gaudi House Museum, the former residence of Antoni Gaudi.
