Opening hours of Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa’s opening hours vary depending on the level and day of the week you choose. It is open from 10 am to 12 am every day. However, the Burj Khalifa observation deck opening hours change according to the level you wish to visit. Tourists can spend unlimited time on levels 124 and 125 (At The Top), whereas they get only 45 minutes to explore level 148 (At the Top Sky). Here is a detailed list of Burj Khalifa’s observatory decks opening hours.

At The Top opening hours

On weekdays, Monday through Friday, it is open from 8 am to 12 am, with the final entry at 11.15 pm. Saturdays and Sundays open from 5 am to 12 am (final entry at 11.15 pm). At the Top has prime and non-prime hours. Visit during the non-prime hours for fewer crowds and a more private experience. The prime and non-prime hours of At The Top are as follows.

The Best Time to visit Burj Khalifa

Visiting the Burj Khalifa is an experience of a lifetime. If you want your visit to be worthwhile, planning and knowing the best time to visit is essential. Weather is also essential in determining the best time to visit. November and March are the best months of the year to visit Dubai. The temperatures are mild during these months, between 20°C and 10°C. The best time of day to visit Burj Khalifa is sunset, from 4 pm to 6 pm. 

If you wish to escape the crowds and enjoy a private experience, visit during the initial opening hours at 10 am or during the closing time of Burj Khalifa. The best time to visit Burj Khalifa At The Top is from 10 am to 12 pm and in the evening before closing time at 11.45 am. If you plan to visit At The Top Sky, the best time to visit for the spectacular views is from 12 am to 6 pm. To escape crowds, visit At The Top Sky from 6 pm to 8 pm. Since most visitors return after visiting At The Top, it is not very crowded and is comfortable throughout the day.

Burj Khalifa is at 1 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can access the Observation decks only via the Dubai Mall. 

By Car

You can take a taxi to the Burj Khalifa; it would cost you approximately AED 50 ($14). Burj Khalifa is approximately 20 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. 

By  Metro 

Visitors can take the Red Line, which takes around 30 minutes to reach the Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall metro station. A metro train ride costs approximately AED 9 ($3), a much more viable option than a taxi. Burj Khalifa is a 10-minute walk from the metro station. The Dubai Metro operates from 7 am to 11 pm from Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays, the metro operates from 10 am to 11 pm.

Visitors can take routes 27, 28 and 29 to the Dubai Mall. Line F13 takes tourists to the Dubai Mall Entrance. You can also take bus no. X22 from Business Bay or bus 50 from International City to Dubai Mall.

While there is no separate entrance for At The Top SKY, you can only access Level 148 through the elevator on Level 124. You need a specific confirmed At The Top SKY ticket to board the elevator.
