Montjuic Cable car is at Avinguda Miramar, 30, 08038 Barcelona, Spain. Get Directions.
It is located near the Montjuic region, with popular attractions like Olympic Ring, a few art museums, the Magic Fountain and Montjuic Castle.
The Barcelona Cable Cars are well-connected to the rest of the city by tram, bus, and metro; it is best to reach Montjuic by public transport.
Note: A different Barcelona’s Port Cable Car (Port Vell Aerial Tramway), the harbor gondola in Barcelona, should not be confused with this one.
To reach the Montjuic Cable car station, take Line 2 or Line 3 of the Barcelona metro network to reach Paral·lel station in 10 minutes and then take Montjuic Funicular.

You can also choose the red line of Barcelona hop on hop off buses to directly reach Montjuïc Cable Car stop (Telefèric de Montjuïc station.)
Montjuïc Park bus lines 150 and 55 can also take you to Miramar – Estació del Funicular bus stop.
The Barcelona tourist bus (Barcelona Bus Turistic) going to Ruta Vermella can conveniently connect you to both sides of Montjuic Hill.
Alternatively, you can choose a more eco-friendly journey with an Electric Bike, available for rent.
You must select the Barcelona Travel Card to get unlimited access to the transportation networks in the city and its suburbs.

Note: The Montjuc Funicular is a part of Barcelona’s metro system. You can use your metro ticket to ride in the Funicular.
Metro and funicular will give you access to the Castle side of the Montjuic mountain.
From Paral Lel Subway Station, switch to the Montjuic funicular railway, a mountain train, for a quick ride to the Parc de Montjuïc Base, the first Montjuïc cable car station.
One-way ticket costs €2; you may use the Hola Barcelona transportation card!
You can explore the nearby attractions of Joan Miro Foundation and the Olympic Ring near the station.
After reaching the top of Funicular Station, you will face a steep walk to the Montjuic Castle.
Nevertheless, if you purchase tickets, the cable car ( teleferic de Montjuic) will provide a convenient solution for the last stretch of your journey.

Choose the metro to Plaça Espanya to reach the Magic Fountain side of the mountain.
It is a 5 mins walk from the Plaça Espanya station to the Magic Fountain.
You’ll see National Museum of Catalan Art (MNAC) and the Caixa Forum here.
A further 5 or 10 mins uphill walk can help you reach Poble Espanyol.
