Kew Gardens Treetop Walkway

The Treetop Walkway, which was opened in the year 2008 is one of Kew’s most well-liked attractions. 

It is popular among younger guests and families.

In order to blend in with its surroundings and make sure that it improves the scenery rather than detracts from it, the building has been purposefully aged and weathered. 

As a result, the rust-colored steel support columns mimic the shape of the nearby tree trunks.

It is about 646 feet long and loops around the higher branches of the chestnut and oak trees.

The Kew Gardens treetop walkway itself is made to sway gently in the breeze. 

You will find ethereal views of the greenery if you go in the early spring or late autumn.

The 118 steps to the walkway are divided into numerous flights and have landings at the ends of each flight, making the ascent doable. 

There is space on each landing to take a break, enjoy the views, or simply move out of the way of approaching climbers. 

The promenade has chest-high railings, and many circular jut-outs offer extra vantage places as it travels song the branches.
