What to Expect

Day 1: Early flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, drive to Siwai and trek to Jhinu/Chhomrung

Jhinu Danda

On the first day of the Annapurna Base Camp 4 days trek, you will take a 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then drive to Siwai.

Then trek to either Jhinu or Chhomrung, which will take 2 to 4 hours of walking.

The maximum height you will reach is 2,170 meters (Chhomrung).

The attractions along the way include Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), colorful hills and greenery, hot springs, exotic flora and fauna, river, traditional houses, and village settlement.

Accommodation: Overnight at tea lodge.

Meals: Luch and dinner.

Day 2: Trek to Dovan/Himalaya

Dovan

This day is a challenging trekking experience up to the Himalayas, passing through dense forests and viewing high mountains.

It will take 7-8 hours of walking, with a minimum height of 2,170 meters at Chhomrung and a maximum of 2,900 meters at the Himalayas.

Along the way, attractions such as rhododendron, pine and oak, cascades, and water springs will be.

At the end of the day, there will be a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3: Trek to MBC via Deurali

Machhapuchhare

After having breakfast, the trek will start early in the morning to Deurali.

It will take two hours to reach Deurali and two hours to reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC).

Along the way, you will see Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), Annapurna (if clear weather), a forest of rhododendron, oak, pine and bamboo, wilderness, hot springs, and small cascades.

Enjoy a hygienic meal at the base camp and an overnight stay at the end of the trek.

Day 4: Early morning from MBC to ABC and helicopter flight from ABC to Pokhara

Pokhara

The trek begins with an early morning breakfast and a sunrise view from Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC).

In two hours, you will reach the final destination Annapurna Base Camp.

On the way, encounter beautiful forests, cascades, birds, and a snowy landscape.

At Annapurna Base Camp, you will observe the Annapurna massif, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri, as well as a Himalayan panorama, snowcapped land, a helicopter ride, green forest, and wilderness.

After admiring the view, you will take a 25-minute helicopter flight to Pokhara.
