Parking at Florida Aquarium

Guests of The Florida Aquarium have access to parking in the City of Tampa parking lot. 

It is situated north of the Aquarium, off the east side of the circle at Channelside Drive. 

Designated accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Parking payments can be made at pay stations throughout the lot or through mobile apps such as ParkMobile, Passport, or PaybyPhone.

Florida Aquarium parking cost

You can find the official parking for The Florida Aquarium just one block north of the venue. 

Parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are unavailable. 

We recommend arriving early to secure a convenient spot near the Aquarium’s entrance.

The cost for parking is $10 per vehicle. 

You can conveniently pay using major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) at the pay stations located throughout the parking lot. 

Additionally, guests can make payments through mobile apps, including the ParkMobile app.

But currently, the City of Tampa is upgrading its system, and member vehicle registration is temporarily unavailable.

• Free parking is included as a membership benefit for Aquarium visitors.
• Members must register their vehicle(s) with the City of Tampa Parking Division to receive free parking.
• Up to two vehicles can be registered, and members are responsible for updating their vehicle tags with the City of Tampa.
• The City of Tampa Parking Enforcement will have a list of registered license plate numbers, so registering your vehicle(s) is essential to avoid parking citations.
• Members are responsible for maintaining up-to-date vehicle registration with the City of Tampa.
• Free parking is available to members during The Florida Aquarium’s operating hours, from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm daily.
• Member parking benefits extend to member-exclusive events, extended operating hours, and Aquarium-hosted events.
• Once your vehicle information is registered with the City of Tampa Parking Division and your membership remains active, you do not need to use the parking pay stations during regular/extended business hours.
• Please note that this parking benefit is not valid outside of operating hours. 
• If you use the Aquarium surface lot outside of these hours, you must pay for parking using the pay station or parking app to avoid receiving a parking citation.
• Your parking benefit is tied to your membership and will lapse if your membership expires.
• If you renew a lapsed membership, you must re-register your vehicle(s) with the City of Tampa’s Parking Division.
