The Spanish Riding School welcomes visitors after 10 am on all days of the week. The attraction is open until 6 pm from Fridays to Wednesdays.
Explore the venue after dark on Thursdays until 9 pm. However, the Spanish Riding School remains closed on Mondays between October and May.

The Visitor Centre is open from 10 am to 4 pm daily, and you can learn about the history of the Spanish Riding School there.
The best time to visit the Spanish Riding School is at 11.30 am during weekdays, so you can attend the morning practices and roam the establishment in peace.
The guided tours start at 2 pm if you want a detailed understanding of the Riding School’s history and architecture.
The attraction will be less crowded from July to mid-August as the horses leave for their summer vacations to Heldenberg.
During their break, they enjoy their time at the Lipizzaner Training Center.
Between November and March, you can visit between 9 am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, in April or October, you can visit from Tuesday to Sunday during the same times, 9 am to 5 pm.
After the foals become four years old, they begin training here for eight to twelve years before they are ready to perform.
They spend the first few years of their life in the countryside at the Lipizzaner Stud Piber Farm.
You can visit the young foals of the Spanish Riding School between April 1 to October 31. The opening timings are daily between 9.30 am and 5 pm.
There is also a museum on the farm with informative exhibits about the history of the Lipizzaner horses and their breeding.
You can visit the displays during the opening hours of the Lipizzaner Stud Piber Farm.
You must note that you cannot see the horses while they rest in the stables from 1 pm to 2 pm.
Since you will be a long way from Vienna, you can visit the café and restaurant on the property when you are hungry.
You can visit daily from 9 am to 8 pm, and warm meals are available between 11 am and 6 pm, as you will find that the climate here is much colder than the rest of Austria.
