Express shuttle bus services are available from Lime Street Station/St. Georges Plateau to the stadium.

4. Take Care of the Road Closures

Anfield Road will close four hours before kick-off, when automatic bollards will be in operation. 

Walton Breck Road will close 90 minutes before kick-off and will then reopen 15 minutes after kick-off. 

The road will then remain open until 15 minutes before the end of the game, finally re-opening approximately 45 minutes after the game ends.

5. Don’t Buy a Half-and-Half Scarf

A friendly tip you will hear from most of the locals is not to buy the half-and-half red scarf from the stadium.

They are ridiculously priced and are too short to be called a scarf.

It is better to bring a plain red scarf if you support the red team.

Small personal bags are permitted, but they must be no larger than A5, and one bag per person is limited.
