Towers of the Basilica

  • Nativity Tower: The Nativity Tower represents the birth of Jesus. It symbolizes the beginning of life and renewal, embodying Gaudí’s vision of celebrating the joy and wonder of creation.
  • Passion Tower: The Passion Tower signifies the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus during his crucifixion. Its angular and austere design contrasts with the Nativity Tower, reflecting the solemnity and intensity of Christ’s passion.
  • Glory Tower (yet to be completed): The Glory Tower is envisioned as the tallest of the three towers, symbolizing the ultimate triumph and glory of Christ. It will serve as the focal point of the basilica, representing the culmination of Gaudí’s spiritual and artistic vision.
