Visiting the Barcelona Aquarium is a fun and educational experience, but it can also be overwhelming if you don’t know what to expect there.

Right beside the marine microorganisms’ workshop is the auditorium of the aquarium.
As you walk out of the auditorium, you will see multiple Mediterranean and Tropical tanks on the left.
On the other side of the floor are Oceanarium tanks featuring sharks, sunfish, eels and more.
You can easily reach Level 1 through the main staircase or the elevator.
The cafeteria, on the extreme right of the staircase, serves different kinds of Spanish and European food and quick bites.
Straight from the stairs is the Explora! which is an interactive and educational space for kids and youngsters.
Next to the ‘Explore!’ is the Sea Bed Theatre that you can enjoy.
As you walk out of the Explora!, the Planeta Aqua is right in front, displaying marine life in different climatic conditions and habitats.
You can access Panoramic Terrace from either Sea Bed Theatre or Planeta Aqua.
If you have the aquarium map, we assure you that you will have a good visit within 2 hours. However, you can surely do that if you want to spend as much time.
The aquarium is built on three floors and holds 11,000+ sea creatures in 35 tanks.
