Hanauma Bay

How to reach: Drive independently to the site for a $3 parking fee ($1 for locals). With only 300 spots, arrive early as security is provided.

Parking at the Zoo costs $1.50/hour, or you can use the free Shell lot if you’re up for a walk.

Magic Island

Magic Island, also known as Aina Moana, is an artificial peninsula near Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Magic Island serves as a popular recreational spot for both locals and visitors. It offers a range of activities, such as picnicking, jogging, and swimming.

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is on historic Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii.

The museum focuses on preserving and showcasing the history of aviation during World War II, especially the events related to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Visitors can explore exhibits displaying authentic aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia from WWII.

And some of these machines have seen combat.

The museum is housed in hangars 37 and 79. Both survived the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The museum’s diverse US and Japanese aircraft array add to the historic and immersive experience.

Apart from these, the museum also has other interactive experiences and flight simulations.

They even have a restoration shop that restores pre-war and post-war aircraft.

Best time to Visit: In summer (June to August), enjoy warm, sunny weather at Pearl Harbor National Memorial. 

It’s ideal for outdoor exhibits and the USS Arizona Memorial and Battleship Missouri Memorial.

Distance from Sea Life Park: 40 min (25.3 mi) via HI-72 and I-H-3 W.

Visitors can also reach by free shuttles departing every 15 minutes from the Pear Harbor visitor center between 8 am and 4 pm. 

The final return shuttle to the Visitor Center leaves the Museum at 5:00 p.m.
