What to Expect

Day 1: Kathmandu to Lukla commercial flight, then Trek to Phakding. (Altitude: 2800m)

Lukla: After breakfast, proceed to the airport to catch a commercial aircraft to Lukla. 

The 35-minute scenic flight will take you to Lukla’s mountain airport. 

Your tour guide will introduce you to the porters once you arrive in Lukla.

A short trek of 3 to 4 hours on the Dudh Koshi left Bank. 

As you trek along the beautiful Dudh Koshi, take the breathtaking landscapes and snow-capped peaks.

After reaching the town of Phadking, stay at a nearby teahouse.

Accommodation: Tea house lodge.

Day 2: Trek from Phakding – Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar: After breakfast, the trek will start towards the Dudh Koshi River, crossing it multiple times as you go. 

After passing a bridge, you’ll arrive at the park in Jorsale.

Stop there for a lunch break before continuing the trekking.

Then, after a short hike through pine forests and scenic mountain views, you will reach Namche Bazaar, the biggest town on the trip.

Day 3: Trekking- Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche

Tyangboche: After breakfast, go out on a hike along the rocky mountain path that follows a narrow hilltop and gives a stunning view of Thamserku, Kusum Kangrib, and Kantega.

After a couple of hours of walking over the flat crisscross road, you will arrive in Phunki Tenga. 

After that, climb up to Tengboche through rhododendron forests. 

The route to Tengboche is slightly more difficult.

Day 4: Trek- Tyangboche to Dingboche

Begin your trek by heading down to the Debuche, followed by a beautiful and delicate stroll through the rhododendron woodland.

Climb past Mani stones carved with Tibetan Buddhist prayers to Pangboche after crossing the Imja Khola bridge. 

Accommodation: Tea house lodge.

Day 5: Trek- Dingboche to Lobuche

Lobuche: 50 minutes drive to reach mani-prayer Stupa.

Enjoy views of Mt. Tawache and Ama Dablam and towards the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-Tse (5820m), and a magnificent wall of Nuptse during the trek.

After a two-hour walk, the trek will connect Pheriche to Dugla (595 m). 

The Khumbu Glacier final bridge then ascends for about 60 minutes. Continue for an hour to the high peak, where you can see Mount Pumori and other peaks on the west side of Everest.

Then it climbs up the terminal bridge of the Khumbu Glacier.

Continue for an hour to a lofty hilltop. Here, you can see Mount Pumori and other peaks on the west side of Everest.

Day 6: Trek- Lobuche to Everest Base Camp, then return to Gorakshep. (Altitude: 5300m)

Gorakshep: Start your hike through a rough glacier path, passing icebergs and icy glaciers as you move down beneath the Khumbu glacier.

Today, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to trek by the final rugged moraine hills and take a short downhill hike until you reach Gorakshep. 

Here, you can enjoy your lunch before continuing on the narrow and rocky path with a  chilly atmosphere, making way for your dreams of reaching Everest Base Camp to come true. 

Afterward, head back to Gorekshep.

Day 6: Early Morning Hike to Kala Patthar and Helicopter flight to Kathmandu.

Kala Patthar: Enjoy a scenic trek to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters), where one can experience the beauty of dawn.

And have an unparalleled view of Mt. Everest and many other renowned mountain peaks such as Mt. Pumori, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse and MT Thamserku! 

After reaching the summit’s 5555-meter height, return to Gorekshep Catchment to embark on the helicopter flight back to Lukla and, ultimately, Kathmandu.
