You can pick up your Hagia Sophia entry ticket from the kiosk near the visiting area’s entrance of the Mosque.
It is easy to spot since it has a vibrant turquoise facade and stands beside the Tourism Police.

Important Information About the Ticket
- To use the audio guide, you must carry headphones and a completely charged phone to the Mosque. Visitors can get a ₺100 headphone from the entrance if they don’t have one.
- Headscarves are necessary for all women to cover their heads and shoulders while exploring the attraction. You can get one for ₺100 if you forgot to bring one.
- All visitors must avoid wearing short pants, skirts, sleeveless tank tops or dresses. If you are wearing shorts, you can buy a body cover of ₺100 from the entrance.
- The Hagia Sophia tickets do not include an option to skip the security line. You must arrive an hour before your booked time slot since the line takes an hour to move forward during the peak tourism season.
- Plan your visit before 10 am and after 3 pm for the least crowd. The Mosque is usually more crowded on weekends and public holidays.
- You must exchange your GetYourGuide voucher at the kiosk for an entry ticket. Visitors cannot enter the attraction by showing the voucher.
- Only locals and Turkish citizens can enter the prayer area of the Mosque.
- The ticket only includes access to the visiting area and the upper gallery. Unless you are a Turkish citizen, you cannot enter the prayer area.
