By Underground rail

The Elbphilharmonie is easily accessible from the city center via public transportation.

From Hamburg Rathaus (underground railway station), you can take the U3 subway line to Baumwall station.

You can also take the U4 subway line to get down at Überseequartier station.

Both stations are about an 8-minute walk from the Elbphilharmonie.

By Bus

The easiest way to get to the Elbphilharmonie by bus is to take Line 6 to the Auf dem Sande (Speicherstadt).

From there, Elbphilharmonie is at a 9 minutes walk away.

The Elbphilharmonie can also be reached by hopping on Line 111, which drops you at Am Kaiserkai.

It is the fastest way to reach Elphi and will cost you €9 to €11.

If you plan on driving, Elbphilharmonie has a multistory paid parking garage that is open 24/7 and with 433 parking spaces available.

The parking space can cost you somewhere around €5.

By Ferry

To get to the Elbphilharmonie by ferry, take the ferry from Hamburg’s Landungsbrücken pier.

It will take you right to the Elbphilharmonie pier, which is right in front of the building.

The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

By Bicycle

Cycling along the Elbe cycle route is the best way to reach Elbphilharmonie.

Starting in the city center, follow the route along the Elbe River, passing the HafenCity University, the Speicherstadt, and the Elbtunnel.

When you arrive at the Elbphilharmonie, there is a designated bike parking area.

You can also rent a bike from any location in the city and park it safely in front of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg concert hall.
