Ticket Prices

Adults aged 18 and over are charged €32 for entry to the Palace of Versailles. 

Children between the ages of 6 and 17 can enter for €10, while infants up to 5 years old can visit for free. 

Students who are EU citizens and aged between 18 and 25 are eligible for a discounted ticket price of €10.

Meeting Point

Go directly to the palace’s entrance A, located in the Dufour pavilion at the upper left corner of the Cour d’Honneur. The time specified above provides admission to the door within half an hour of the set time.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • The palace entrance must be at the scheduled time. You can see the gardens and the Marie-Antoinette estate before or after your timed access.
  • The afternoon timeslots are quieter for visiting the palace during peak season.
  • Children under 6 years old need a free ticket to visit the palace. The supplier’s website provides this information.
  • Child aged 7–17: Tickets are only available at the Palace (€10 per person).
  • Students under 25: Tickets are only available at the Palace (€10 per person).
  • The gardens are open from 8 am to 8:30 pm.
  • The last admission into the Versailles Palace and its gardens is at 6 pm.
  • During the night fountain presentations on Saturdays, the final admission time is 5.30 pm.
  • Fountains and musical garden displays are held from April to October. They are part of the ticket and are from 9 am to 7 pm.
