This observation deck, perched atop the Palm Towers at the world-famous Palm Jumeirah, offers an exceptional experience.

However, you need to be a little prepared to get the best out of your visit.

1. Choosing the Right Time

To witness the stunning views of Palm Jumeirah during sunset, plan your visit between 5 pm and 7 pm. 

Remember that this is the busiest time due to the popular golden Dubai skyline at dusk.

For a more peaceful visit with fewer crowds, opt for morning or noon visits or enjoy the panorama after sunset.

If you are visiting after 5 pm, you can also stay to enjoy fine dining at View at the Palm as the observation deck transforms into a restaurant. 

2. Duration of Your Visit

It takes at least two hours to explore the two levels of observatory decks – the view observatory and the next level. 

However, If you wish to visit the AURA Skypool, the lounge or the restaurants, you will need extra time.

You can also savor the breathtaking views and capture as many pictures as you like in 30 minutes, making it a quick yet memorable stop.

3. Arrive on Time

Entry to The View at the Palm is based on ticket time slots, so be punctual or arrive a few minutes early to ensure a smooth experience.

4. Accessibility

The attraction welcomes visitors of all ages, with children aged 4 or below granted free access.

Please note that The View at the Palm is not wheelchair-accessible. 

Additionally, it may not be suitable for individuals using walking aids due to the need to navigate outdoor stairwells. 

It’s advisable to avoid wearing high heels or stilettos for the same reason.

5. Dress Comfortably

The dress code at View at the Palm is casual. 

Make sure you are dressed modestly and appropriately, as Dubai is a conservative city. 

Beachwear and loungewear are not allowed in the observatory deck. 

Dubai’s climate can be warm, so wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for walking and exploring the deck.

We suggest you pick comfortable footwear as there is much walking to do. 

Avoid wearing flip-flops or beach sandals.

You can try CouCou Dubai on the 52nd floor if you are visiting after 6 pm.

On the other hand, Sushisamba on the 51st floor is open throughout the day.
