With so much to do and see, it can be challenging to decide what to do in Los Angeles. 

To help you out, here is a three-day Los Angeles itinerary to get the most out of your trip. 

Day 1

Day 1(1)


In the morning, begin your 3-day Los Angeles tour by visiting the Griffith Observatory

Located in Griffith Park, the Observatory offers stunning views of the city and displays exhibits about astronomy, space exploration and the universe. 

Admire the breathtaking view of the city from the Observatory’s observation deck and explore the planetarium and the telescope. 

Afterward, head to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where you can find stars dedicated to famous personalities from the entertainment industry. 

Stroll along the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and take photos with some of the most recognizable stars.  

The next stop is Universal Studios Hollywood to experience the thrilling rides. 

Enjoy the attractions at the world’s largest movie studio and take the studio tour to explore the backlots of some of the most famous films. 

Experience 3D rides such as Jurassic Park, Transformers, and The Mummy. 

After your Universal Studios experience, take a break and grab a bite to eat at the CityWalk, a collection of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.  


End your day with a visit to the iconic Santa Monica Pier

Take a walk along the pier, enjoy attractions like an amusement park and the arcades or take in the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.  

Day 2


Start your second day by visiting the Getty Center and its gardens, where you can enjoy the world’s finest collection of art, architecture and gardens. 

Take a stroll through the peaceful gardens and admire the stunning views of the city. 

Afterward, make your way to the Hollywood Sign in Hollywood Hills. 

Take a photo with the iconic sign, and explore the surrounding area.  

Continue your day with a visit to the world-famous Venice Beach Boardwalk. 

Enjoy the street performers, stroll along the beach, and shop at the eclectic stores. 

Afterward, drive to the Beverly Hills neighborhood and explore the luxurious homes and boutiques.  


End your day with a visit to the iconic Sunset Strip, home to the best nightlife in the city. 

Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants, and enjoy an evening of live music at some of the most famous music venues.

Day 3 


Begin your last day in Los Angeles with a visit to the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, where you will explore the famous tar pits and the surrounding area. 

Admire the artifacts and fossils found in the tar pits and learn more about the area’s history.  

Next, visit the Walt Disney Concert Hall and enjoy performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Afterward, explore some of the city’s most iconic attractions, such as the Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Bowl.  


End your 3-day Los Angeles tour with a visit to the Griffith Park Zoo. 

Explore the various exhibits, and take a ride on the carousel. 

Afterward, grab a bite at one of the restaurants in the area and enjoy your last evening in the city of angels.
