How to Get to The Hollywood Bowl

You can reach the Hollywood Bowl by car, bus or train. 

If you are driving, take the 101 Freeway to get to the Hollywood area and the Hollywood Freeway to the Hollywood Bowl exit. 

This will take you directly to the Hollywood Bowl parking lot. 

If you are using public transportation, take the Metro Red Line train to the Hollywood/Vine station. 

From there, take the free shuttle to the Hollywood Bowl. 

The shuttle runs every 15 minutes and takes about 10 minutes to get to the Hollywood Bowl. 

If you are flying into Los Angeles, get a taxi or ride-sharing service from the airport directly to the Hollywood Bowl. 

Once you have reached the Hollywood Bowl, either park in the parking lot or take the shuttle from the Hollywood/Vine station. 

Hollywood Bowl Museum

The Hollywood Bowl Museum is the first structure tourists encounter when they enter the grounds from Highland Avenue. 

Situated at the bottom of Peppertree Lane, the museum features an array of interactive exhibits and displays that celebrate the history and culture of the Hollywood Bowl.

The permanent collection includes musical instruments, costumes, photographs, and a re-creation of the Hollywood Bowl stage. 

There are also interactive displays, such as a sound booth where visitors can listen to different music and a virtual venue tour.

The Museum also offers educational programs for students of all ages, with topics ranging from the history of music and entertainment to the science of sound.

The Museum is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday-Monday Closed.

Tour the Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a renowned Los Angeles landmark that offers visitors of all ages a self-guided tour known as the Bowl Walk.

This tour features ten displays spread across the property, which provide information on the history, culture, architecture and natural environment connected to the Bowl.

Furthermore, the Hollywood Bowl is the first amphitheater in California to be certified as an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary.
