Wave Pools

One of the main attractions at Aquatica Orlando is the wave pools. 

The park features two wave pools: Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores. 

Both wave pools are situated side-by-side and are designed to simulate the experience of being in the ocean, with waves created by powerful wave generators. 

Visitors can swim and play in the waves or relax on the sandy beach surrounding the pool.

Cutback Cove

This Aquatica Orlando wave pool- Cutback Cove- measures 17,000 square feet and can hold up to 500,000 gallons of water. 

This Aquatica pool features waves of heights of up to 5 feet, providing an exciting experience for guests of all ages.

Cutback Cove also has a sandy beach area and various seating options, including lounge chairs and umbrellas. 

Additionally, guests can also rent private cabanas for additional comfort and privacy.

Big Surf Shores

Big Surf Shores are massive, over 15,000 square feet, and can hold up to 2.5 million gallons of water.

This Aquatica pool has waves that are in intensity, from mild swells to high surges that can reach up to 5 feet in height. 

Guests can enjoy the waves while floating on rafts or body surfing, and there are shallow areas for younger children to enjoy the waves safely.

Safety is a top priority at this wave pool at Aquatica, and the pool is staffed by trained lifeguards who monitor the water at all times. 

Accessibility

• Weak or non-swimmers without life vests should not go beyond the black line. 
• Swimmers should wear a life vest due to the nature of this Aquatica pool.

Lazy Rivers

Lazy rivers are a popular attraction at Aquatica Orlando and are perfect for those looking to relax and unwind while enjoying the water park experience. 

The lazy rivers at Aquatica Orlando are designed to mimic the flow of a natural river, with gentle currents. 

These rives take you on a relaxing journey through the park’s lush tropical landscape.

Both lazy rivers at Aquatica Orlando allow guests to float along in inner tubes or simply swim along with the current. 

It’s a great way to take a break from the more high-energy attractions at the park and enjoy a peaceful time in the water.

Loggerhead Lane

Loggerhead Lane is a winding waterway that meanders through tropical landscapes, allowing guests to float effortlessly in inner tubes while enjoying the scenery. 

A ride lasts approximately 20 minutes, during which the visitors experience the beautiful surroundings- exotic fish, lush vegetation, a waterfall and a cave.

The water is shallow and slow-moving, perfect for families with young children or anyone looking for a peaceful break from the more thrilling water rides. 

Accessibility:

• Guests under 48″ (1.22m) should wear a life vest 
• Tubes are required for this attraction
• One rider only in a single tube; one or two riders only in a double tube 
• Life vests are permitted

Roa’s Rapids

Roa’s Rapids is a high-speed adventure river offering guests a thrilling, action-packed experience. 

Unlike a lazy river, Roa’s Rapids features a fast-moving current, geysers, and waterfalls that push riders along the winding river course. 

Guests ride in a single or double inner tube while navigating through the twists and turns of the rapids and encounter surprise geysers and sprays along the way.

Roa’s Rapids is definitely not for those who are looking for a leisurely and relaxing ride but rather for those who crave an adrenaline-filled water adventure. 

Accessibility:

• Riders under 51 inches (1.3m) tall should wear a life vest to experience this attraction. 
• Obey all posted signs and instructions by guards. 
• Life vests are permitted. 
• Tubes are not permitted. 
• Maximum water depth is 3 feet 9 inches.

Kid’s Special

Aquatica Orlando is a great water park with many fun attractions and experiences for kids of all ages.

Turi’s Kid Cove

Of all the various Aquatica pools, Tuki’s Kid Cove is a fun-filled water play area designed especially for kids. 

Turis Kid Cove is located in the heart of Aquatica Orlando and offers a variety of interactive water activities, slides, and splash zones for children of all ages.

The area features a large wave pool, where kids can swim and splash in the shallow waters, and 

Turi’s Kid Cove also has several water slides designed specifically for children, including the Whanau Way. 

Furthermore, the area is surrounded by plenty of shaded seating areas for parents to relax and watch their children play.

Accessibility:

• A child must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. 
• Maximum water depth of the beach area is 18 inches.
• Maximum water depth at the bottom of the slides is 2 feet.
• For everyone’s safety, diaper-aged children must wear swim diapers(swim diapers are available in the gift shop)

Walkabout Waters

Aquatica Orlando’s Walkabout Waters is a kid’s special play area that resembles a rainforest canopy.

Walkabout Waters has several water features like slides, water cannons, and geysers. 

One of the most talked-about highlights of Walkabout Waters is the “drench bucket.” 

The massive drench bucket slowly fills with water before tipping over and drenching anyone beneath it. 

The area also features plenty of shaded seating for parents to relax while their children play, including restrooms and changing facilities nearby.

Accessibility:

• Life vests are not permitted on enclosed slides
• Children under six must be accompanied by a supervising companion
• Maximum water depth in the play area is 1 foot 3 inches (0.38m)
• Maximum water depth in splash pools is 42 inches (1.07m)
